Main Duties
Human Resources and Recruitment Officers perform some or all of the following duties:
- Identify staffing requirements and post job advertisements
- Screen applications and advise candidates on employment terms
- Arrange interviews, redeployments, and transfers
- Recruit graduates from colleges and universities
- Participate in selection boards and evaluation processes
- Prepare job offers and notify applicants of outcomes
- Advise managers on staffing policies
- Organize grievance and consultation procedures
- Coordinate training and employee assistance programs
- Manage Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) files
- Supervise clerical HR staff
