Petroleum Engineers perform some or all of the following duties:
- Conduct field-development feasibility studies

- Develop stimulation and enhanced-recovery programs
- Analyze reservoir rock and fluid data

- Design subsea production systems
- Oversee installation and maintenance of petroleum equipment
