Main Duties
Information Systems Testing Technicians perform some or all of the following duties:
- Develop and document testing strategies, plans, and test cases
- Set up and configure test environments and systems
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and system tests
- Analyze test results and identify defects or performance issues
- Write and maintain automation scripts for software testing
- Track defects, bugs, and resolution cycles using test-management tools
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues
- Validate system performance, usability, and security requirements
- Prepare test reports and recommend improvements
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement processes
