Main Duties
Electronic Service Technicians (Household and Business Equipment) perform some or all of the following duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair household and office electronic equipment
- Test circuits and components using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and diagnostic tools
- Diagnose faults in electronic systems and components
- Replace or repair defective parts, including soldering components
- Adjust and align systems using technical manuals and schematics
- Calibrate equipment to ensure proper performance
