Main Duties
Nursing Coordinators and Supervisors perform some or all of the following duties:
- Supervise registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing personnel
- Evaluate patient needs and ensure appropriate nursing care delivery
- Coordinate nursing services with other healthcare departments
- Ensure quality standards and compliance with administrative procedures
- Develop and implement unit policies and procedures
- Manage nursing unit budgets and ensure adequate supplies and equipment
- Participate in recruitment, evaluation, and professional development of staff
