Main Duties

Nursing Coordinators and Supervisors perform some or all of the following duties:

  • Supervise registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing personnel
  • Evaluate patient needs and ensure appropriate nursing care delivery
  • Coordinate nursing services with other healthcare departments
  • Ensure quality standards and compliance with administrative procedures
  • Develop and implement unit policies and procedures
