Main Duties
Store shelf stockers, clerks and order fillers perform some or all of the following duties:
- Pick and pack merchandise to fulfill customer and online orders
- Stock shelves and maintain organized displays in retail environments
- Use scanners and inventory systems to track stock levels and update pricing
- Attach price tags and security devices to merchandise
- Assist customers in locating products within the store
- Receive, unpack, and verify shipments from suppliers
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of stockrooms and sales floors
