Main Duties

Contractors and supervisors in other construction trades and service occupations perform some or all of the following duties:

  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of specialized trades such as bricklayers, roofers, painters, glaziers, and repair technicians
  • Establish work methods and coordinate activities with other subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution
  • Requisition materials and resolve technical work problems to improve productivity and quality

  • Oversee installation, finishing, and repair work across residential and commercial construction projects
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and energy-efficiency standards
  • Manage multi-trade operations across diverse project environments including construction, repair, and servicing sectors
