Main Duties

Automotive and heavy truck parts installers and servicers perform some or all of the following duties:

  • Install and replace vehicle components such as windshields, mufflers, exhaust systems, radiators, and shock absorbers
  • Repair, mount, and balance tires for passenger vehicles and heavy trucks
  • Perform wheel alignments using computerized equipment
