Main Duties

Contractors and supervisors in landscaping, grounds maintenance and horticulture services perform some or all of the following duties:

  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule activities of workers maintaining lawns, gardens, parks, and recreational areas
  • Manage construction of landscape features such as walkways, retaining walls, decks, and irrigation systems
  • Establish work schedules and coordinate activities with subcontractors and departments

  • Oversee seasonal operations including snow removal and maintenance services
