Main Duties

Oil and gas drilling, servicing and related labourers perform some or all of the following duties:

  • Assist in setting up, operating, and dismantling drilling and service rigs
  • Handle, move, and stack drill pipes, casing, and equipment on the rig floor
  • Clean and maintain drilling equipment, tools, and work areas
  • Assist in mixing drilling fluids and chemicals for operations
