Main Duties

Utilities managers perform some or all of the following duties:

  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the operations of utility companies or services
  • Develop and implement policies for the treatment, distribution, and maintenance of utilities
  • Manage budgets, operational costs, and resource allocation
  • Oversee maintenance and upgrades of transmission and distribution systems
