Main Duties
Utilities managers perform some or all of the following duties:
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the operations of utility companies or services
- Develop and implement policies for the treatment, distribution, and maintenance of utilities
- Manage budgets, operational costs, and resource allocation
- Oversee maintenance and upgrades of transmission and distribution systems
