Main Duties

Supervisors in electronics and electrical products manufacturing perform some or all of the following duties:

  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule workers assembling, fabricating, inspecting, and testing electronic and electrical products
  • Establish production methods and coordinate with engineering and logistics teams to meet deadlines
  • Monitor production processes to ensure product quality, reliability, and efficiency
  • Resolve technical issues and implement improvements to increase productivity and reduce defects
  • Manage materials, supplies, and equipment maintenance including tool calibration
  • Train workers in job duties, safety procedures, and use of advanced manufacturing systems
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and ISO quality systems
  • Prepare production reports, safety audits, and testing summaries for management
  • Oversee implementation of smart manufacturing technologies including AI, IoT, and automation
