Main Duties
Plastics processing machine operators perform some or all of the following duties:
- Set up and operate machines such as injection moulders, extruders, blow moulders, and compression moulders to produce plastic products

- Monitor machines to ensure consistent quality and efficient operation
- Inspect finished plastic products using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
