Rule #1: It Must Be TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3
To accrue eligible work experience for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) or Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) programs, your job must fall under specific National Occupational Classification (NOC) TEER categories.
- TEER 0: Management Occupations
- TEER 1: Professionals (Degree req.)
- TEER 2: Supervisors & Technicians
- TEER 3: Skilled Trades & Specific Roles
* Note: Work experience in TEER 4 or 5 generally does not qualify for federal PR pathways (though some provincial PNPs accept them).
